I am from the Philippines and received my Bachelor of Religious Education from Ebenezer Bible College and Seminary. This is my first-year teaching at Sakura International English School. Saturday Class Teacher

Hello students! Hello parents!
Welcome to Sakura International English School. My name is Miss Mhel and I am your Saturday class teacher.

 I am a licensed teacher. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education with a concentration in General Science and I am a full-fledged graduate of Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Management. I have been in the field of teaching for 15 years. My teaching experience includes being a public school teacher in the Philippines for almost 10 years, a Korean Nationals tutor, a Board of Education Support Staff in Joso City Japan, and an Assistant Language Teacher. Teaching is my passion. I love teaching because every single day I can make a difference in someone’s life. I know that I can’t teach every child in the world but I am sure that I can make a difference for the ones that I do teach. I want to encourage every child to dream. And most importantly, I love children so much. In my class, we will learn how to read, write, compute and speak English. We will make friends and even play games. We will also become scientists and researchers as we integrate the world of science into our English lessons. My hobbies are reading books, listening to music, baking, and spending time in nature. My name is Carol Serrano, married and I am from the Philippines.

I have been living in Japan since 2016 .I have been teaching English in Public Elementary Schools for almost 5 years now. I teach kids from 3 years old to 12 years old.

I love teaching children! My mission as a teacher is not just teaching them how to speak and read but to help them discover the joy of learning and it is important to me that my students appreciate and respect  each other's differences and learn how to be helpful and kind to others. 

I like listening to music, watching YouTube videos and going to karaoke with my family and friends. 

I like touring and enjoying the beautiful places of Japan while doing my passion as a teacher.

Saturday Class Teacher

Hello students and parents! Welcome to Sakura International English School. My name is Miss Futaba and I am one of your Saturday Class teachers. I completed my Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English in the Philippines. I learned a lot about educational theory and methods while in college, but the time I spent doing my practice teaching as an english teacher and worked as an Assistant Language Teacher for 3 and a half years was an invaluable experience. I learned how to put theory into practice while leading a classroom. I learned classroom management strategies to make learning fun and challenging. I have also learned to be more patient, understanding, flexible and alert to the necessities of my students and be able to give them proper solutions. Every experience is an encouragement for me that made me more love and enjoy my teaching career. 

I love music, reading books and watching animes. My favorite anime is "Naruto" and "Doraemon". I also love Japanese foods like ramen, gyoza, natto and many more! I look forward to meeting you all. See you!
